For Authors
Notes to Contributors
Guidance for preparing manuscripts for the Journal of Applied Information Science & Technology (JAIST).
Aim of the journal
Purpose and scope

Papers should consider policy relevance where appropriate and make recommendations that may support policy formulation and implementation. Contributors are encouraged to reflect a global perspective suitable for an international readership.
Writing approach
Structure and analysis
The introduction should clearly state the paper's thesis, indicate its intended scope and outline its main divisions. Issues should be discussed analytically. Authors should not merely summarize other authorities but should provide their own analysis of the views and evidence presented in the literature.
Research foundations
Literature analysis
Authors are expected to demonstrate broad and thorough engagement with relevant literature, including books, book chapters, journals, encyclopedias, conferences and workshops.
